Global AIDS Week of Action

One week. One voice. Is the world doing enough to stop AIDS? For the past three years campaigners from around the world have come together on the Global AIDS Week of Action under "one week. one voice." to hold world leaders accountable on their landmark commitment to halt the spread of AIDS. This year, events are being planned across the world for Global AIDS Week of Action between 18 - 24 May. See below to read more.

Take action in your country and show solidarity globally this week -18 -24 May!!!! Join a groundswell of civil society voices from across the world during the week prior to the UNGASS Review in New York and the G8 Summit in Japan, to demand urgency, accountability and more resources in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

The President of the General Assembly's summary of the 2008 High Level Meeting on the review of the Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS and the Political Declaration on HIV/AIDS, which was held in New York from 10 to 12 June 2008. is now available. Click below to download the report.

Nearly 250 organisations and unions from more than 60 countries that signed on their support to demand G8 countries to keep their promises on universal access.
