International Night of Solidarity Events

International Events

Geneva

Join the EAA for the International Night of Solidarity on HIV and AIDS on June 2.

§Venue: Place des Nations, Geneva

§Start time: 20h00

 

There will be a display of a large ribbon on the ground onto followed by laying of prayers that have been written on cards.

 

Please wear or bring something RED to show solidarity in the face of the pandemic. Please bring friends, colleagues and family members. We strongly encourage you to participate in the International Night of Solidarity on 2 June.

Vienna

A candle light vigil and film festival will take place starting at 20:00 on the Night of Solidarity. These events are a part of Austria Action Alliance against HIV/AIDS "Action Days" which go from 31.5.07. until 6.6.2007. Rome

At 9:00pm at the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena Piazza della Maddalena 53, Rome there will be a Vigil of Prayer for the Night of Solidarity. Please see below to download the event flyer in English, French, Russian and Italian. For more information, please visit www.caritas.org

Chennai, India

Madras Christian Council of Social Service (MCCSS) is hosting events to commerate the Night of Solidarity inlcuding hand impression movement and candle light services in many locations in the area. For more details, please contact Isabel Richardson isabelrichardson@yahoo.com.
