Peter Piot's response to the CSTF

On 12 May the Civil Society Task Force sent a letter to Dr. Peter Piot, UNAIDS and Dr. Margaret Chan, WHO requesting leadership in ensuring that the HLM and briefing documents relating to the meeting highlight and strengthen the commitments made to achieving universal access by 2010. Parliamentarians from more than 100 countries have called for the lifting of travel restrictions for people living with HIV or AIDS. The call to lift the bans came on the first day of meetings by the Inter-parliamentary Union in the Thai capital, Bangkok.
